other great projects = bert kaplan has the first quarter world civ lectures on cassette and can get the rest done ... he also has lectures by many professors from the first years that can be taken off of the old reel to reel tapes and put in other formats ... we are trying to help him by locating people who want to buy copies of the tapes ... his goal is an on-line alumni database of old lectures and other materials ... bill dickinson has started a fund to assist children from broken families to locate homes, shools and mentors -- if you want to donate money or mentor someone contact bill dickinson, his email link is below ...
i will continue using this no frills page to organize information about UCSC and the people i met there in the 60s and since ...

still in santa cruz are: rich randolph 831-423-1980, bert kaplan 831-423-7517, stanley williamson 831-426-3238, john dizikes 831-426-8412, maurice natanson passed away and his wife lois lives in santa cruz -- she is wonderful to talk with, mary holmes will be at the reunion and is very frail, tom vogler is still in santa cruz but i have not had time to talk with him, byron stookey lives on the east coast and is the single best source of information i have found on what happened during the planning and early stages at the campus - i have his email address if anyone is interested; bruce larkin has been considering writing a paper about the university, bill domhoff is still there from what i have heard, and patrick aherne is now in italy
